Shelter Exhibition: SAGE Gateshead
Any exhibition of offender artwork was made at HMP Durham working with Shelter, based on a difficult and emotive subject for the learners - home.
The exhibition was shown at SAGE Gateshead and featured across three pages in the local newspaper 'The Journal', allowing a very different perception to those detained in prisons. Through feedback cards, visitors to the show recorded their thoughts meaning that inmates could see feedback from those working outside of the Criminal Justice System.
