We Shall One Day
These works are part of a continued investigation into themes of life, death and the passage of time.
A blanket of dead leaves provided immediate inspiration for this large format drawing as colour could be seen to be draining from the leaves. The work is made in Conté crayon onto paper. Mounted onto board and strutted with timber, the drawing takes on an appearance unlike a canvas, diminishing the boundaries between drawing as preliminary work and that of being a finished artwork.
