We Shall One Day 2.1
Exploring ways of working which might allow describing the colour - or life - draining from dying leaves, a combination of grisaille underpainting in oils with many fine layers of glazing on top were utilised.
This traditional painting method allowed achieving the depth required whilst being able to utilise a limited palette of earth colours.
